The Felice Brothers – Frankie’s Gun

A band that I’ve been listening to a lot lately is The Felice Brothers. They are five piece band (only 3 Felice Brothers though) hailing from upstate New York. I would have a hard time categorizing them in just one genre, it’s a combination of folk, country, rock, and a little soul… but in the end it comes out sounding rough and polished all at the same time.

Here is a YouTube clip of them playing live at SXSW. I had a chance to see them earlier this year at the House of Blues – Anaheim (I missed their opening act, but did see North Mississippi All-Stars and the Drive-By Truckers).  From the looks of this clip… I regretably missed a great show I’m sure.
